Mayflower Pub, 1979-2013
As has been reported, the Mayflower Pub and restaurant—an Ottawa fixture—is closing this month.

This is really sad.
ReplyDeleteThe Highlander, yes, that touristy (not to say something else) pub in the market will be taking over that location. As if Elgin street (or Ottawa for that matter) needs another English/Irish/Scottish pub.
